Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the Turkish version of the Attachment Insecurity Screening Inventory is a valid and reliable measurement tool. The sample of the study consisted of 540 mothers in the 2021-2022 academic year. The children of 250 parents included in the study are 4, and the children of 290 parents are 5 years old. As a result of the Exploratory Factor Analysis, the 3-factor structure of was confirmed. The Cronbach Alpha reliability coefficient for the reliability of the scale was found to be α=.0.80. The total correlation values of the dimensions in the scale vary between 0.793 and 0.810. As a result of Confirmatory Factor Analysis, it was found that the scale had acceptable fit values. The results showed that the adapted scale is a scale that can be used as valid and reliable.
