Erken çocukluk dönemindeki çocuklarla katılımcı araştırmalarda karşılaşılabilecek etik sorunlar

Bu çalışmada erken çocukluk dönemindeki çocuklarla katılımcı araştırmaların farklı aşamalarında, araştırmacılar tarafından karşılaşılabilecek sorunlar ve dikkat edilmesi gereken noktalar tartışılmıştır. Tartışma dört başlık etrafında şekillendirilmiştir: (1) Erişim kazanma ve onam süreci; (2) Araştırmanın gerçekleştirildiği ortam; (3) Araştırmanın tasarlanması ve veri toplama süreci; (4) Verilerin analizi ve yaygınlaştırılması. Araştırmacıların sahip olduğu çocuk algısı ve çocuğu kavramsallaştırma şekli, onları araştırma sürecine ne kadar dahil edeceklerini etkilemektedir. Bu çalışmada ilgili konu tartışılırken araştırmacı tarafından çocukların aktif üreticiler olarak görüldüğü sosyal yapılandırmacı bakış açısı benimsenmiştir. Çalışmanın, çocuklarla çalışacak araştırmacılara yol göstereceği düşünülmektedir. Ayrıca çalışma kapsamında paylaşılan bilgi ve örnek araştırmalar, araştırmacılara net bir yön vermek yerine içgörü sağlamayı amaçlamaktadır. Çocuk hakları ve çocuklarla kurulan ilişkilere dikkat edilerek ve sosyal yapılandırmacı bakış açısı benimsenerek etik anlayışların geliştirilmeye devam edileceği düşünülmektedir.References
